Are you an experienced and safety-focused Class 5 Driver looking to join a reputable and innovative civil construction company? We are currently seeking a motivated individual to be part of our team in Blenheim, where you’ll play a vital role in supporting our diverse construction operations across the Canterbury region.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport construction materials, machinery, and plant between sites across the Marlborough area.
• Tanker delivery of Emulsion and Bitumen products, when required.
• Verify delivery instructions and ensure accurate logging of deliveries.
• Maintain the cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle.
• Communicate effectively with the logistics team to optimise route efficiency.
• Perform routine vehicle checks and report maintenance or repair needs.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possess a full New Zealand driving licence Class 5
• Previous experience in a heavy goods class 5 driving role (truck & trailer experience is essential), preferably with bulk cartage of aggregate & bulk liquid deliveries is an advantage but not essential.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Flexibility to work extended hours, including early morning starts and occasional Saturdays as required.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good geographical knowledge of Marlborough and the surrounding areas is a definite advantage.
• Basic mechanical knowledge for routine vehicle checks.
